Fine condition hardback book in red covers in a Fine condition unclipped dustjacket. An excellent, fresh copy in all respects.
Former RAF pilot and test pilot, Neil Williams was widely regarded as one of Britain’s most accomplished pilots having competed in every World Aerobatic Championship since 1964 and captained the British team since 1966. He was British aerobatics champion 13 times, European champion twice and finished fourth in the 1976 World Championship. Therefore there are few pilots more qualified to write this authoritative handbook on aerobatics. This is a book which will intrigue all pilots and will also interest non-pilots who dare to dream and wish to understand the skill and process required to master this ultimate discipline of flight.
Tragically, Neil was killed in 1977 when he crashed in a Spanish-built Heinkel He111 that he was ferrying from Madrid to the UK. Neil Williams
‘Aerobatics’ by Neil Williams is an acclaimed pilot’s handbook and scarce signed.
