This is the autobiography of Canada’s top scoring ace of of the Desert Air War and the third highest scoring Canadian fighter pilot of WWII. He was credited with 15+ victories but is likely to have scored many more and even damaged the top Luftwaffe ace Marseille in a dog fight. After many months with 260 Squadron, he became a flight commander on 92 Squadron in Italy and then Commanded 274 Squadron operating Spitfires over the Normandy beaches. Returning to Canada, he had a long flying career post-war in the RCAF, finally retiring in 1972.
A scarce signed book.
